Wellbeing indicators for participatory EU strategy planning for Europe 2020
get startedThe interest in the conceptualization and measurement of wellbeing has recently become a prominent theme across many spheres of European policy. The fact that the European policies should be interested in citizen’s wellbeing it is a subject that demands attention.
Some could argue that nobody knows what makes us better than ourselves. But, not understanding the impacts of wellbeing nor recognizing a full concept of wellbeing and its implications for health, relationships, and education would mean that we, as a society, are not paying attention to what really matters to people.
Goals
- To assess change in governance required by the adoption of different economic and social indicators to measure prosperity and well-being in contrast to nearly exclusive pro-growth development policy.

- To develop educational civil society strategies to undertake policy advocacy on the reform of public service delivery regulation for the 2014-2020 development planning period.
